Agnes Brooke Clark, 87, of Lynchburg, VA, and formerly of Lake Gaston, died Saturday, July 19, 2008.

Mrs. Clark was a Virginia native, the daughter of the late Wiley Tolliver and Lockie Walton Tolliver. She was a member of North Bedford Baptist Church in Lynchburg, VA and former member of Lake Gaston Baptist Church and First Baptist Church in Roanoke Rapids.

She was preceded in death by her first husband of 50 years, Robert "Bob" Brooke, Sr.

She is survived by her husband, Marvin T. Clark; her daughter, Debra B. Bigelow and her husband, Michael, of Fallon, NV; her son, Robert "Bob" Brooke, Jr. and his wife, Marilyn, of Big Island, VA; four grandchildren, Michaela Bigelow, Isaac Bigelow, Ashley Brooke, and Robert "Robbie" Brooke, III and his wife, Jessica; one sister, Eva Kidd Boncore; and one brother, O’Dell "Speedy" Tolliver.

Askew Funeral & Cremation Services is handling the arrangements, where the family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 22, 2008 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at Lake Gaston Baptist Church in Littleton, NC with Rev. Ron Nida officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
